With a global footprint and a reputation for innovation, we are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Perth Service team and play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

About the Role

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of service delivery and technical support across the Perth Branch. You will lead a team of Field Service Technicians, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure all installations, maintenance and support activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work closely with customers, technicians, sales teams and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Perth Service team to deliver outstanding customer service outcomes
• Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety requirements
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and engagement
• Manage department budgets, forecasts and financial performance
• Drive a positive customer-focused culture across the service team
• Plan and schedule field service resources to support current and future workloads
• Support technicians with technical guidance, problem solving and escalation management
• Ensure jobs are appropriately resourced with parts, equipment and personnel
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling and job planning activities to maximise efficiency
• Assist with the preparation of service quotations and cost estimates
• Maintain service quality standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the development, mentoring and performance management of Field Service Technicians
• Work closely with Sales teams to identify opportunities for additional customer support and business growth

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong technical background combined with proven leadership and customer service experience.

You will have:

• Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering background
• Significant experience within field service, maintenance or technical support environments
• Strong understanding of mining technology, automation or mobile equipment systems
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate technical teams
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Strong planning, scheduling and resource coordination capabilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in high-pressure situations
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing service delivery performance
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
