Join our team at Animalia Vet Clinic, with occasional shifts at our second practice, Gawler Animal Hospital (just 2km away).

Our team consists of 10 experienced veterinarians, many with over a decade in the field supported by 30+ skilled nurses. Together, we foster a collaborative and supportive environment focused on achieving the best outcomes for our patients.

As a general practice clinic, we are well-equipped with in-house diagnostics, including X-ray and ultrasound facilities.

THE ROLE

You will primarily be based at Animalia Vet Clinic, working as part of a supportive and collaborative team. The role offers a balanced caseload with approximately a 50/50 split between consulting and surgery.

We’re a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together there’s plenty of laughter, strong teamwork, and open communication embedded in our culture. Each shift is well-supported, typically including three nurses and two support staff, ensuring you have the resources you need to provide excellent care. Each Wednesday we have whole staff meetings including training session and updates to the whole team.

• 2-4 shifts per week 9am - 6pm
• Flexibility around working days – ideally a Tuesday and Wednesday
• 1 in 8 Saturday (8:30am – 3pm) and Sundays (9am – 1pm) at Gawler Animal Hospital and 1 in 8 Saturdays at Animalia 8:30am – 12:30pm

ABOUT YOU

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Small Animal Veterinarian, bringing strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to high-quality care
• Competent at all small animal GP clinic procedures including pyo, x-lap, soft tissue, staged dentals and dental x-ray
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and composure
• Are approachable, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Communicate clearly and professionally across all interactions
• Enjoy problem-solving and take a proactive, adaptable approach to your work
