We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator to join our team at Maribyrnong River Children's Centre.

Located in the heart of vibrant and culturally diverse Maribyrnong, Maribyrnong River Children's Centre delivers high quality and multicultural early learning and care, where children can explore, learn, and grow. Our play-based programs foster curiosity, confidence, and connection, supported by a team of nurturing educators, many of whom have been with us for over a decade.

Families value our welcoming, culturally rich approach that celebrates diversity and learning for all. With regular community outings, strong local partnerships, and a natural outdoor play space, we provide high-quality early learning and care that helps every child realise their potential.

There are two full-time roles, each working 38 hours per week.

Position 1: Full-time fixed-term role, ending in December 2026.
Position 2: Full-time ongoing role.

About you

• You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
• You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
• You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
• You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
• You value kindness and respect.
• You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
• You hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate.
