30–45 minute appointments. A caseload built around quality, not volume. $60–$75 per hour based on experience.

Tired of back-to-back scan lists that leave no time to do the job properly? At Scope Healthcare, our appointment times are set at 30–45 minutes because we believe good echocardiography takes time — and our cardiologists rely on the quality of your studies, not the quantity.

We're an expanding, privately owned cardiology group looking for experienced Cardiac Sonographers to join our team across Melbourne.

• $60–$75 per hour, based on experience

• 30–45 minute cardiac ultrasound appointments — time to scan thoroughly, every patient

• Quality over volume — no pressure to churn through lists

• Genuine flexibility — full-time, part-time or casual, with your choice of working days and preferred clinic locations

• Varied caseload — echo and stress echocardiography with established patient demand, working directly alongside experienced cardiologists

You'll perform a broad range of cardiac ultrasound investigations, including:

• Transthoracic and stress echocardiograms

• Assessment of valvular heart disease

• LV systolic and diastolic function

• Cardiomyopathies, structural heart abnormalities and other complex pathology

You'll have the autonomy expected of an experienced cardiac sonographer, backed by supportive clinical and administration teams and cardiologists who are on site and accessible.

• ASAR accredited in Cardiac Sonography

• Experienced in echocardiography and confident working independently

• Comfortable identifying and assessing cardiac pathology

• Patient-focused, clinically thorough and collaborative

Stress echocardiography and advanced echo experience will be highly regarded. Ideally you'll have at least 2 years' experience, though we're happy to consider strong candidates with less.
