Service Coordinator / Dispatcher – Appliance Repair

Always Prompt Repairs has been servicing premium household appliances since 2009. From our Underwood base, our field team services customers across Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Northern Gold Coast.

As we continue growing, we’re expanding our operations team and looking for an experienced Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to help coordinate scheduling and daily field operations for our technician team.

This is a fast-paced operations role focused on dispatch, scheduling, customer communication, and keeping the day running efficiently when priorities change.

You’ll work alongside an established support team including schedulers, quoting support, spare parts coordination, and management support — with structured systems and processes already in place.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys organised, high-volume work, communicates confidently, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

• Take inbound customer calls and accurately book appliance repair jobs

• Schedule and coordinate technician runs across Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Northern Gold Coast

• Re-prioritise schedules throughout the day as urgent jobs and changes arise

• Coordinate warranty and urgent service work alongside planned bookings

• Keep customers informed when schedules or arrival times change

• Create quotes and send booking confirmations

• Maintain accurate job notes, customer records, and booking information in Simpro

• Work closely with technicians, quoting staff, spare parts coordination, and management to keep daily operations flowing smoothly

This role is best suited to someone with previous experience coordinating technicians or mobile workforces within a field-service environment.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in dispatch, scheduling, or service coordination

• Experience in appliance repair, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security, telecommunications, logistics, or another field-service industry

• Hands-on experience using a job-management system such as:

  • Simpro

  • ServiceM8

  • AroFlo

  • Tradify

  • or similar platforms

• Strong spoken English and a professional, confident phone manner

• Fast and accurate computer skills with the ability to manage multiple systems and priorities at once

• Strong organisational skills and sound judgement under pressure

• Good working knowledge of Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Northern Gold Coast

• Australian work rights and a current driver’s licence
