Timber Mill Hand

Windoor Joinery is a market leading company in bespoke timber window and door joinery based in Sydney, NSW. With over 40 years’ industry experience, Windoor Joinery specialises in the crafting of custom window and door systems to suit the needs of architects, builders, and home owners.

We are currently looking for a Mill Hand to join our team. This position is permanent full-time and will be based out of our factory in St. Marys, NSW.

About the role

As a full-time Mill Hand, you'll be stationed primarily in the mill assisting to produce dressed materials for custom solid timber joinery. You'll be expected to perform your duties competently, comply with company policies and procedures, follow all WHS requirements, and maintain satisfactory standards of behaviour and professionalism at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Forklift Operation

• General Labouring

• Timber Selection of various species

• Facing & Edging

• Operation of other various machinery

Skills and Experience

• Entry level role

• Ability to perform duties competently

• Adherence to all WHS requirements

• Forklift licence of great benefit but not required

• Previous machine experience of benefit
