About the role
Little Pioneers Early Learning Centre is seeking a Certificate 3 or Diploma to join our dedicated team in Forster, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives during their formative years. As a key member of our childcare and outside school hours care facility, you will play an integral role in creating nurturing, educational environments where children can thrive, learn and develop to their full potential. This position sits at the heart of our service delivery and directly contributes to our commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

What you'll be doing
Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities that support children's growth across all developmental domains
Creating safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration, creativity and social interaction
Building positive relationships with children and families, fostering trust and open communication with parents/guardians
Observing and assessing children's development and progress, documenting learning outcomes and adjusting curriculum accordingly
Supporting children's wellbeing, including physical health, emotional development and behavioural guidance using positive discipline strategies
Collaborating with colleagues to implement Centre policies, procedures and safeguarding protocols
Maintaining accurate records, attendance logs and individual child documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
Participating in professional development and staying current with early childhood education best practices and legislation
Supporting outside school hours care operations where applicable, including afternoon and holiday care activities
Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting the Centre's vision and values
What we're looking for
A current Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification)
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance valid for NSW
Current First Aid and CPR certification for infants and children
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), the Australian Curriculum: Foundation to Year 10 and EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework)
Knowledge of Child Safe practices
Demonstrated experience working with children in early childhood, childcare or outside school hours care settings
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues
A genuine passion for supporting children's development, learning and wellbeing
Strong organisational and time management abilities in a busy, dynamic environment
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently
A commitment to maintaining a safe, hygienic and inclusive learning environment
Experience with observations, assessments and documentation practices is desirable
