People & Culture Business Partner

Looking for a role where you can influence how people strategies shape business performance? Splitting your time between our CBD and Frenchs Forest offices, as People Partner for our Media & Trading teams at Tabcorp, you'll work at the intersection of commercial outcomes, workforce complexity and leadership capability. Supporting a dynamic portfolio with award-covered and shift-based workforces, you'll help strengthen decision making, build leadership confidence and shape a positive employee experience across a fast-paced part of the business. 

Your role, your impact 

Reporting to the Head of Partnering, you will be a trusted advisor to leaders across Media & Trading, balancing strategic people partnering with specialist employee and industrial relations expertise. You will play a critical role in delivering contemporary people solutions, strengthening leadership capability, and supporting organisational change, workforce planning and talent strategies while helping build high-performing teams and a positive employee experience. 

Specifically, you will; 

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and organisational design 

• Provide expert advice on awards, rostering, legislation and employee relations 

• Coach leaders and develop capability, through complex people matters and decisions 

• Support workforce change initiatives with practical people solutions 

• Translate business priorities into actionable people plans 

• Strengthen compliance while enabling strong commercial and people outcomes 

• Build trusted partnerships to influence decision-making and drive high-performing cultures. 

What you'll need to succeed 

You bring strong commercial judgement, a collaborative approach and the confidence to influence across different leadership levels. 

• Proven experience in a similar Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or Employee Relations focused role. 

• Experience in employee and industrial relations advisory 

• Strong capability interpreting awards and employment legislation 

• Proven ability influencing leaders in complex environments 

• Experience supporting workforce change and consultation processes 

• Ability to balance compliance, risk and commercial outcomes 

• Strong stakeholder relationships and solution-focused mindset 

• Willingness to spend time in both our CBD and Frenchs Forest based offices
