An outstanding opportunity has presented itself for a supervisor to lead our linehaul operations based at our Sydney Freight Terminal.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be accountable for leading and coordinating day‑to‑day Linehaul operations, ensuring safe, efficient and customer‑focused service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead operational activities to support Delivery in Full, On Time (DIFOT) targets.
• Ensure all train movements and Linehaul functions operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with PN standards.
• Champion cultural change and continuous improvement in safety, performance, and productivity.
• Provide effective leadership to train crews, supporting training, assessment, and ongoing capability development.
• Implement business improvement initiatives and support national and local operational plans, including roster optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support customer‑centric service outcomes.
• Contribute to asset, labour and resource planning to ensure optimal utilisation.
