JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for a motivated Junior or Internediate Accountant to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

Tavani Tax and Accounting is a boutique Chartered Accounting practice, based in Ardross WA. We specialise in helping small businesses and individuals to meet their accounting and tax obligations with efficiency but importantly, we build strong relationships with our clients through our personalised and friendly service.

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing firm and seek an enthusiastic junior tax accountant to join our team.

About your role

Your work will focus on:

• Preparation of individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns

• Preparation of financial statements

• BAS and IAS preparation

• Bookkeeping and reconciliations

• Liaising with clients and the ATO

• General accounting and administrative duties

About You

To be successful in this role:

• Completed the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree or hold an equivalent Accounting qualification

• 1+ years experience in an accounting/tax related role or public practice

• Proficiency with Accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and excel

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
