Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gladstone, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components that meet our clients’ needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our engineering projects, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and project plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and implementation phases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficient in using electrical design software and tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
