Programmed Facility Management is seeking two experienced Village Managers to join our team at Munjuda, a brand-new FIFO village supporting our client PLS.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the operation ahead of the site going live in early October. Commencing in mid-September, you'll play a key role in establishing the camp, building a new team and putting the processes, systems and standards in place that will shape the operation from day one.

As Village Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of camp operations, while working closely with the client and your team to create a safe, welcoming and high-performing environment.

The Opportunity

As Village Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Munjuda village.

This is more than maintaining an established camp. You'll be joining during the establishment phase, giving you the opportunity to influence how the operation runs, develop your team and embed the standards and culture expected across the village.

You will oversee the full range of camp operations, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently while maintaining a strong focus on resident experience and client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing overall leadership and management of the village operation
• Leading, supporting and developing a team of approximately 24 camp personnel
• Establishing and embedding operational processes, procedures and standards
• Building a positive team culture from the ground up
• Managing day-to-day camp operations across accommodation, catering, cleaning, facilities, retail and other village services
• Maintaining strong relationships with the client and key operational stakeholders
• Ensuring contractual and service delivery requirements are consistently met
• Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance
• Managing workforce requirements, rosters and day-to-day team performance
• Responding to resident feedback and ensuring a high level of customer service
• Managing operational issues and providing practical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensuring the village is maintained to a high standard and is ready to meet the needs of the workforce
• Supporting reporting, audits, inspections and compliance requirements
• Working collaboratively with Programmed's wider operational and support teams

About You

This role will suit an experienced Village Manager who enjoys leading people, solving problems and building strong operational foundations.

You will be comfortable working in a new environment where processes are still being established and will have the confidence to make decisions, take ownership and bring people with you.

To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Village Manager or in a similar senior camp management role (Essential)
• Previous experience managing FIFO or remote village operations
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills
• The ability to establish processes and standards in a new operation
• Strong commercial and operational awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong relationships with your team and stakeholders
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance and service delivery
