An opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and energetic casual Kitchen Attendant, who enjoys working in large and fast paced environment, to join our dynamic & busy kitchen team.
The Kitchen Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment is maintained at all times. This will be achieved by performing cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation and scullery areas. Your responsibilities will be to:
Ensure the kitchen, food preparation & scullery areas are a clean and hygienic work environment
Clean dishes, utensils and equipment
Handle and use chemicals safely
Operate dishwashing equipment & move catering equipment
Lifting of heavy items & dispose of waste
Deep clean kitchens & perform duties to a high standard
This is a casual position. Availability to work AM shifts is essential, with opportunities to work both AM and PM shifts. We are seeking team members who can work 3–5 shifts per week. Typical shift patterns are:
AM: 6:00am – 2:00pm (essential availability)
PM: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
A reliable and hardworking approach with good attention to detail
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and repetitive manual tasks
A commitment to cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards
