Casual Retail Assistant

Location: Swimart Tingalpa
Employment Type: Casual
Hours: 3 days a week / 24hrs per week (9am-5pm)

Swimart Tingalpa is one of Australia's most trusted pool and spa specialists, and we're looking for a motivated, customer-focused team member to join our store. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Casual Retail Assistant to join our small business. This is a varied role that combines customer service and retail duties with some general administration and office support.

The successful applicant will enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and be comfortable helping wherever needed in a small-business environment.

Retail & Customer Service

• Welcoming and assisting customers

• Processing sales and handling payments

• Answering customer enquiries in person, by phone and email

• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming retail area

• Restocking products and assisting with stock control

• Unpacking orders and general retail duties

Administration

• Data entry and updating records

• Filing and general office administration

• Answering phones and responding to emails

• Preparing documents, invoices or other basic paperwork

• Assisting with stock, ordering and supplier administration

• Providing general support to the business owner and team

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers

• Reliable, punctual and well organised

• Comfortable using POS software and Microsoft office software

• Able to work independently and take initiative

• Accurate and attentive to detail

• Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks

• Previous retail or administration experience is essential.
