Truck / Delivery Driver

About the Role 

We’re looking for a Truck Driver to join our Cairns Branch. As a Truck Driver with Bradnam’s Windows and Doors, you will play an essential role in our customer service experience, ensuring our high-quality windows and doors are delivered safely and efficiently to our valued customers across Australia. Your work is integral to ensuring that builders, homeowners, and renovators receive their Bradnam’s products on time, contributing directly to their satisfaction and project success.

About You 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for ensuring that Bradnam’s products are delivered efficiently and safely. You will take pride in being an essential part of the team that ensures our customers’ satisfaction with every delivery.   

 The ideal candidate will possess:   

• A current (manual) driver’s license with a clean driving record    

• Prior experience in truck driving, with a commitment to high standards of service   

• Knowledge and commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling of heavy loads Strong communication skills, reliability, and a great work ethic   

• Fit and able bodied as the role will include heavy lifting 
  

Key Responsibilities Include 

• Safely operate and maintain delivery trucks, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.   

• Secure all items on the truck before travel, ensuring safe transportation to customer sites.   

• Follow all required hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness. 

• Complete all required paperwork and check sheets on time, ensuring accuracy. 

• Contribute to a clean and organized branch environment through good housekeeping practices. 

• Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices and follow all safety protocols.   

• Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in compliance with State and Federal Regulations. 

• Assist with loading and unloading the truck, ensuring products are handled with care. 

• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery instructions and provide updates as needed.  

• Adhere to customer site requirements, including mandatory PPE and sign-in procedures.  

• Perform any other reasonable duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the role.
