A bit about the role…

An exciting opportunity is now available to join our Estimating and Scheduling team with ongoing training and long-term career opportunities on offer for the right candidate. 

Reporting to the Estimating and Scheduling Manager, your day-to-day tasks (dependent on experience) will include, but not be limited to:

• Producing quantity take-offs and purchase orders for labour and materials 

• Providing sales costings for both custom and base model designs, including single storey, two storey and multi-unit developments

• Providing variation costings from prestart through to jobs in construction 

• Acceptance and checks of new deals

• Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders

Now a bit about you…

We are looking for someone who:

• Is proficient in the Microsoft suite of programs, especially Excel

• Can confidently interpret contract documentation, plans, building processes and procedures, relevant legislation, standards and building codes

• Has attention to detail along with a high level of organizational and time management skills

• Is self-motivated, accountable and enjoys working in a close-knit team

• Has sound knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques, particularly of traditional single and two storey double brick and concrete homes

• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Has minimum 3 years' experience as an estimator and/or scheduler in the Perth residential construction industry
