Stockman/Farmhand

We are a family-owned and operated large-scale cattle breeding and finishing operation in North West Tasmania.  

We are looking for an experienced Stockperson for a long-term position within our business with the opportunity for growth. You will need to have an understanding of pasture management, rotational grazing, irrigation, animal husbandry and the breeding and finishing of beef cattle.  Experience with Agriwebb would be an advantage.  This position also entails all manual tasks associated with farming including stock movement, machinery operation, fencing and animal husbandry. 

An excellent remuneration package will be available to the successful applicant.

The successful applicant must have:

• Experience with beef cattle

• Irrigation knowledge and experience

• Strong communication skills

• Drivers License

• Ability to think innovatively and contribute positively to the business's long-term strategy
