An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Senior Medical Workforce at Innisfail Hospital as a SMO, Rural Generalist. Utilise your advanced skills and passion for rural medicine having a profound impact on patients, families and the wider Far North Queensland community. This position offers an exceptional blend of hands on procedural, acute and inpatient care, rural generalist practice and professional leadership.About us:
Innisfail Hospital is a level 3 rural hospital staffed and managed by Rural Generalists. We are keen to welcome a Rural Generalist (Procedural Obstetrics, Anaesthetics or Emergency) to join our work group. We have a highly collaborative and supportive team of Rural Generalists Obstetricians, Anaesthetists and Endoscopists. We have a strong focus on providing education and mentorship for Rural Generalist trainees and ongoing case based reflection and training for Senior staff. Our hospital is generously supported by a Hospital Foundation allowing us access to amazing state of the art resuscitation and ultrasound equipment. We operate a High Dependency Unit capable of stabilising and treating critically unwell patients. Innisfail is in the heart of the Wet Tropics and has unparalleled access to World Heritage rainforest and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Don't miss this opportunity to join our dynamic team.
About your new role:
As a Rural Generalist with Advanced Obstetrics, you'll enjoy flexible and innovative rostering options. CHHHS supports the safe and sustainable provision of Rural Maternity care by providing:
As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive a competitive base salary (total remuneration):
Remuneration up to $472,871 per annum full time (L25 – L27) or,
Remuneration up to $432,438 per annum full time (L18 – L24) or,
Remuneration up to $314,700 per annum full time (L13)
