What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Passion for providing excellent clinical care to their community as a Rural Medical OfficerExperience in delivering quality care to inpatients, outpatients, Emergency Department clients across a variety of acuity and care needs.Knowledge and practical application of the National Quality & Safety Standards through the delivery of Safe and Quality focussed Patient centred care.Excellent communication and teamwork skills across a variety of settings including in an emergency
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16Possession of a medical degree registered or eligible for general registration with AHPRA.Possession of Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) +/- FARGP or Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
