Senior Product Designer

We’re not looking for someone who’s planning to try AI one day. We’re hiring someone who already uses it to explore concepts faster, pressure-test ideas earlier, and deliver design solutions that are both beautifully simple and commercially sharp — and who wants to keep pushing that edge in a product that brings order to some of the most complex, high-stakes processes in global business.

This is a senior design role in Ansarada’s Product and Design team, working alongside Engineering, owning design from discovery through to delivery. You’ll shape customer experience, influence product strategy, and help raise the design standard across the team.

Senior designers used to spend significant time on early-stage exploration, write-ups, and stakeholder documentation — time that could have gone to the thinking, the craft, and the customer. In this team, AI compresses the routine so you can go deeper on the problems that actually define the product.

Concept exploration: more ideas, faster validation Use AI to rapidly generate concept variations, explore edge cases, and stress-test interaction patterns before committing to a direction — so you’re spending your creative energy on refinement and judgment, not starting from blank every time.

Research synthesis: turn qualitative data into clear design direction AI synthesises user interview notes, usability feedback, and research findings into structured themes and design implications — so insights from customer conversations translate into decisions faster, with less manual analysis.

Stakeholder communication: make design rationale land AI helps you draft design rationale documents, write-ups for async reviews, and structured handoff notes — so your thinking is communicated clearly across the triad and with senior stakeholders, without the documentation overhead slowing you down.

Design system contribution: consistent, scalable, well-documented Use AI to generate component documentation, audit design system usage across the product, and draft contribution guidelines — so the design system stays healthy and well-understood by every team that uses it.

What you’ll do:

Own design end-to-end

• Lead design projects from discovery through to delivery — with AI accelerating exploration and documentation at every stage
• Align business requirements, technical constraints, and customer needs into simple, user-centred solutions
• Ensure measurable outcomes from your design work — connecting decisions to customer impact and commercial results

Raise the bar across the triad and team

• Work closely with Product and Engineering to shape how the triad approaches problems — bringing design thinking into strategy, not just execution
• Advocate for design standards and actively contribute to evolving Ansarada’s design system and practices
• Mentor and support less experienced designers, helping elevate the quality and confidence of the wider design team

Stay close to the customer

• Connect with customers directly — gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate and improve your work
• Champion the customer experience in every stakeholder conversation, translating complexity into clarity
• Share what’s working — your AI workflows, your design approaches, your customer insights

What we’re looking for Experience and skills

• 5+ years in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex interaction design, visual design, and user-centred thinking.
• Proven experience working within product triads or cross-functional teams. Deep understanding of the product lifecycle and how design decisions affect both customer experience and business outcomes.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and translating strategy into design direction. Experience contributing to or evolving a design system.
• As an ISO27001-certified business, you’ll complete regular security training and follow our policies to keep sensitive information safe.

AI fluency

• You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Figma AI) as a genuine part of your design process — not occasionally
• You use AI to accelerate exploration, synthesise research, draft documentation, and stress-test concepts
• You know where AI speeds up your process — and where your design instincts, craft, and customer empathy still lead
• You share what works and you’re always experimenting with what’s next
