Field Service Technician

JLG Industries are seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our Kewdale team servicing Metro Perth and regional areas.

As a field service technician, you would be responsible for carrying out services, repairs and attending breakdowns on elevated work platforms, lighting towers, telehandlers, forklifts and small construction equipment such as mini dumpers.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited too:

• Servicing, inspecting & repairs of equipment such as EWP’s, lighting towers, telehandlers, and the occasional hydraulic hoses & small diesel engines.

• Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when required

• Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by JLG policy, ANZ Standards and customer and/or site requirements in a timely manner

• Conduct Van audits and stock take

• Visiting existing and new customers in your region

• Cold Calling in your region

• General admin and ad hoc duties may be required from time to time

Qualifications include:

• MUST have mechanical trade qualification - elevating work platform technology, heavy vehicle, diesel, automotive, auto electrical.

• Previous mechanical experience working on access plant or heavy equipment

• MUST have a valid driver's licence

• Must have own basic tools

• MUST have attention to details, diagnostic & problem-solving skills

• Successful applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
