About You

The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail as you will be handling peak volumes of import/export container movements via the Port of Brisbane wharf. 

• A minimum 1yr Wharf Allocator experience

• 1Stop, Container Chain and Hutchison Port experience essential

• Experience with FreightTracker - highly desirable but is quick to pick up

• Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management, planning and customer service skills;

• Organised, self-motivated and problem solver;

• You must also enjoy working within a team environment.

• You will be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment

• Strong Microsoft office skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

The Role

Full Time: Morning and Evening position available Monday to Friday – Optional Saturday Morning Slotting shift available

To be considered for this role, you must be experienced with the following tasks:

• Coordinate FCL movements of import and export container to and from wharf

• Allocate trucks and liaise with drivers

• Liaison with Customers on Delivery Times and Order Confirmation

• Planning of Slots for imports and exports

• Ensure container slot bookings are checked and correct

• Apply container numbers to slot bookings

• De-hiring of containers and report preparation from Logistics software for De-hires and Triangulations

• Timely and accurate data entry

• Optimize fleet operations

• Other duties as and when required.
