We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager/ Assistant VM to oversee the operations of one of our flagship locations in the heart of Baldivis, WA.  This venue offers award-winning local craft beers, modern Australian cuisine and a two-decade community tradition.  We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to join our tight-knit team in ensuring the seamless running of our operations, while driving exceptional customer experiences and help shape our future!

What we're looking for:

• A hospitality lover with a spark for creating memorable guest experiences.
  
• Bonus points if you’re as passionate about craft beer as we are!
  
• 3+ years of bar or hospitality experience, with a knack for leading by example.
  

·       Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cocktail-making

• Holder of a current RSA Certificate and Approved Managers Card.
  
• A natural leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  
• Reliable, punctual, and always ready to roll up your sleeves.
  
• Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

As our Assistant Venue Manager, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations. You will be a highly visible leader on the floor, motivating the team, engaging with guests, and ensuring service runs seamlessly. This is a hands-on role perfect for an experienced supervisor or assistant manager looking to step up, take ownership, and fast-track their hospitality career.  Your key responsibilities include;

·       Lead the Floor: Run busy daily shifts, manage front-of-house flow, and maintain a high standard of service and hospitality.

·       Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor casual floor and bar staff to maintain high performance and low turnover.

·       Guest Relations: Build a loyal local customer base by handling guest inquiries, feedback, and issues with professionalism and grace.

·       Financial Oversight: Manage cash handling, daily reconciliation, and assist with monitoring labour costs and inventory levels.

·       Compliance & Safety: Maintain RSA standards, ensure strict adherence to licensing laws, and uphold workplace health and safety guidelines.

·       Event Execution: Help coordinate and execute private functions, themed nights, and special venue events.
