Senior E& IC Designer

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior E&IC Designer to join our project team in Melbourne CBD on a 6months contract with possibility of extension. This role will be responsible for developing I, E & C design deliverables across projects in the O&G and pharmaceutical industries in collaboration with I, E & C Engineers. Interaction with designers and engineers within the I, E & C discipline, as well as other disciplines, in a team environment will be key to create multi-discipline design packages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the I, E & C design for wiring diagrams, E&I layouts, and design details as required
• Clear and timely communication regarding design change issues
• Liaison, support and timely transfer of information to other disciplines
• Respond to technical queries
• Contribute to site installation and commissioning information as required

• Minimum of 6 years general design drafting experience
• Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements
• Ability to problem-solve effectively
• Attention to detail
• Competent with AutoCAD
• Competent in 3D PDMS
• Competent in using SPI
