About the Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced full-time Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at our Craigieburn branch. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, organisation and presentation. This is a permanent Monday to Friday position, 8:00am to 5:00pm, supported by an annualised salary.
About You:
You are physically fit, safety-focused and have a strong attention to detail. You take pride in accuracy, efficiency and teamwork, and are capable of performing the following duties:
Receiving, storing and despatching automotive parts accurately and efficiently;
Picking and packing customer orders to a high standard with a focus on accuracy and speed;
Ensuring precise stock location, handling and replenishment to maintain warehouse flow;
Maintaining accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and system updates;
Assisting customers with parts identification and order fulfilment in a professional manner;
Participating in stocktakes and cycle counts as required;
Safe and competent operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment;
Upholding a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment at all times; and
Applying strong attention to alpha/numeric detail to ensure inventory accuracy throughout.
Skills & Experience:
To be considered, you will be able to possess the following:
Solid knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, ideally within the automotive industry;
Current LO (Order Picking Forklift) and LF (Forklift Truck) High Risk Work Licences and demonstrate strong knowledge, confidence, and competency in safely operating both order-picking forklifts and standard forklift trucks in a warehouse environment;
Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the ability to perform under pressure;
Confidence using computer systems and RF scanning technology to manage and maintain stock accuracy;
A strong track record of delivering KPI results including pick accuracy and delivery in full;
Competent and safe operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment;
Experience in pick/packing, receiving, dispatching and stock replenishment;
Sound understanding of workplace health, safety and manual handling requirements;
Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail; and
A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
