Solution Technology Lead

The Solution Technology Lead is responsible for the technical leadership and successful delivery of customer development outcomes within the Delivery function. Acting as both a hands-on senior engineer and the team’s software development lead, the Solution Technology Lead ensures that solutions are well-designed, scalable, secure, and aligned with Entsia’s architecture and engineering standards.

Working closely with the Technical Manager, Portfolio Manager and Professional Services Manager, the Solution Technology Lead translates customer priorities into clear technical designs and engineering approaches that enable the team to deliver high-quality outcomes predictably and efficiently. The Solution Technology Lead builds engineering capability within their team by mentoring developers, strengthening engineering discipline, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The role is responsible for the following outcomes:

• Deliver customer solutions that are technically sound, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the intended use of the Entsia platform and its architecture and engineering standards.
• Become a trusted solution architecture advisor to Entsia’s customers ensuring their solutions are scalable and allow the customers to fully exploit the technical capabilities of our platform.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers who are motivated, engaged, capable and possess a deep knowledge of the Entsia Platform – focusing on leadership whilst still being hands-on as required.
• Deliver commercially successful outcomes through effective management of the team, utilisation, planning and coordination with the Delivery Managers to ensure customer milestones are achieved.
• Comply with company policies and procedures on the handling of personal data, data confidentiality and information security.

The role requires the following skills and experience:

• Significant experience in professional software development within a SaaS, platform, or product engineering environment (utilising Java as the core technology).—
• Demonstrated experience leading the technical direction of a development team and delivering complex software solutions in a production environment.
• Strong hands-on engineering capability with deep understanding of modern software design, scalable architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers, building team capability and promoting strong engineering discipline.
• Experience translating customer requirements into clear technical designs that balance delivery speed, maintainability, and platform evolution.
• Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges and architectural trade-offs.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and other areas of the Entsia business.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset focused on delivering technology outcomes that create measurable value for customers and the business.
