About the role
About the role:
Be part of something new with ETS as a Scheduler/Planner – Operations, based at our Bridgewater depot. Supporting the delivery of our new TasWater contract, you’ll play a key role in keeping people, resources and schedules aligned and the operation running smoothly.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll coordinate daily activities, plan and allocate resources, keep communication flowing and help ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your organisation, problem-solving skills and attention to detail will make a real difference
Your responsibilities will include:
• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily operations to keep the contract on track
• Work closely with the Operations Manager, Supervisors and crews to keep communication clear and work flowing
• Manage resources and schedules to maximise operational efficiency and meet contract requirements
• Prepare reports, analyse operational data and maintain accurate contract documentation
• Monitor contract progress and proactively address operational issues to maintain service delivery
• Support compliance with health and safety, environmental and company requirements
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients and key stakeholders
About you / What we’re looking for:
• 2–3 years’ experience in scheduling, planning, operations or project coordination, ideally in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams, management and clients
• Proven ability to coordinate people, resources and schedules to support efficient and timely delivery
• Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems, with strong attention to detail and accurate data management
• Certificate III in Business Administration or Certificate IV in Leadership & Management is desirable, but not essential
