Permanent Part Time Opportunities - Fair Haven Aged Care, Hervey Bay QLD

Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking dedicated Environmental Service Workers to join our Fair Haven Service, a 78‑bed Residential Aged Care home in Hervey Bay, Urraween. In this varied role, you’ll support our kitchen team with food preparation and service, maintain clean dining spaces, and help ensure a safe, hygienic environment within and around the kitchen..

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning resident rooms and communal areasLaundry duties (washing, drying, folding and distribution)Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation and serviceSupporting dining room setup and pack downFollowing infection control and safety proceduresWork closely with the team to keep things running smoothly

About You

Reliable, positive and team-orientatedPrevious experience in cleaning, laundry, hospitality, or kitchen hand roles (aged care experience is desirable)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively within a team and manage competing prioritiesAbility to work across day, afternoon, and night shiftsHold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
