About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the Capture Specialist will be a driving force in shaping and securing new business opportunities for Aurizn.

This role will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to define delivery approaches, coordinate demonstrations or prototype solutions, coordinate the design of Aurizn’s proposed offering and ensure Aurizn’s offering is aligned with customer operational needs and program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and shape strategic Defence opportunities aligned with business growth objectives.
• Develop and lead capture strategies for key opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to develop competitive, customer-focused solutions.
• Lead capture activities, including bid strategy, proposal development and submissions.
• Embed opportunity development and capture best practice.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.

About You

• Ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance is required.
• Demonstrated experience in Capture Campaign, Business Development, or a similar role within the Defence industry.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and win complex opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in capture management and proposal development.
• Strong technical understanding to engage with customers and delivery teams.
• Strong project management understanding to engage with the delivery teams.
• Proficient in capture management techniques and processes such as Shipleys, and possess the flexibility and agility to tailor the processes to suit the maturity of the business as it grows.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
