Guide. Mentor. Empower. Shape the future of nursing and midwifery.
Clinical Nurse/Midwife Facilitator Role
As a Clinical/Nurse/Midwife Facilitator, you'll play a key role in supporting the learning, confidence and professional development of nursing and midwifery students, EN cadets, and graduate nurses and midwives across our regional health network. Working closely with Nurse Educators, you'll provide hands on "at elbow" clinical support, mentor staff in practice, assist site preceptors, and help foster a positive learning culture across a variety of clinical settings.
Clinical Facilitators are employed within one of three regional hubs and may work across multiple sites within that hub. Opportunities are available across general medical, surgical, aged care and rural multipurpose services, with specialist facilitator roles in Midwifery, Perioperative, Emergency Department and Renal nursing.
Essential Criteria
you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience. Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses is essential.
