Coolroom Installer / Trades Assistant

About the role

Smart Ice Systems is looking for a Coolroom Installer / Trades Assistant to join our growing team. We specialise in commercial refrigeration equipment, coolrooms and freezer rooms, and we're looking for someone practical, reliable and good with their hands to help with our installations around Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Installing commercial coolrooms and freezer rooms

• Installing insulated wall and ceiling panels

• Fitting coolroom doors, trims, flashings and accessories

• Cutting and fitting aluminium and sheet metal components

• Silicone and finishing work

• Assisting with refrigeration equipment installation

• Loading, unloading and setting up jobs

• General commercial installation work

• Working alongside our refrigeration mechanics and installation team

About you

• Good practical and mechanical ability

• Comfortable using power and hand tools

• Able to measure accurately and work neatly

• Physically capable of installation work

• Current driver's licence

• Construction White Card

• Reliable and able to work as part of a small team

• Willingness to learn

• Coolroom installation experience would be great, but attitude and practical ability are more important
