The Opportunity

We're excited to offer an opportunity for a technically strong and investment-focused professional to join our Performance & Analytics team as a Senior Analyst, Performance & Analytics.

This is a unique role for someone who combines deep investment performance expertise with strong technical, automation and AI capabilities. You'll play a key role in measuring and analysing investment performance across one of the world's most sophisticated institutional investment portfolios, helping investment teams better understand outcomes, drivers of return and portfolio decisions.

As the team continues to evolve from traditional reporting towards insight-led analytics and decision support, you'll help modernise the way performance and attribution information is delivered across the organisation. You'll use automation, advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, enhance investment insights and build scalable analytical capabilities.

Working closely with investment teams, technology specialists, data partners and external providers, you'll solve complex analytical challenges, develop innovative solutions and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Performance & Analytics operating model.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver investment performance measurement, attribution analysis and reporting across a diverse, multi-asset portfolio.
• Translate complex performance outcomes into clear, actionable insights that support investment decision-making.
• Conduct ad hoc performance, attribution and portfolio analysis for investment teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance reporting, analytics and attribution capabilities through automation and scalable analytical solutions.
• Review and improve processes, controls and workflows to increase efficiency, scalability and operational resilience.
• Partner with investment teams, Technology and data providers to understand business needs and deliver practical analytical solutions.
• Support oversight of external service providers and contribute to continuous improvement of the operating model.
• Apply AI, automation and advanced analytics techniques to improve reporting, controls, reconciliations and insight generation.
• Build reusable tools, scripts, analytical frameworks and workflows that improve team capability and efficiency.
• Prototype and rapidly deliver new analytical capabilities that provide immediate value while longer-term solutions are developed.
• Apply techniques such as scenario analysis, anomaly detection and what-if modelling to enhance investment insights.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge assets and controls that support operational resilience and effective knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the team's ongoing transformation towards a more technology-enabled, insight-driven operating model.

About You

We're interested in hearing from people who are genuinely passionate about investments, analytics and technology, and who enjoy solving complex problems in a collaborative environment.

You may come from an investment performance, performance attribution, investment analytics, investment operations, risk analytics, portfolio analytics or financial data background and be excited by the opportunity to combine investment expertise with modern analytical and AI capabilities.

You'll likely bring:

• Experience in investment performance measurement, attribution, performance analytics and investment reporting.
• Strong understanding of investment markets, portfolio performance and return drivers across multiple asset classes.
• Strong technical capability in tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI or similar analytical technologies.
• Experience developing automated processes, data workflows or analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable analytical and technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Experience applying AI tools, automation techniques or advanced analytics to improve efficiency, insight generation or scalability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
• Experience working with investment data and analytics platforms such as FactSet, Pearl or similar systems.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for learning new technologies and approaches.
