We’re looking for an Environmental Consultant to Principal Environmental Consultant – Onshore Approvals to join our APAC team in Perth.

What You’ll Do
Prepare environmental approval documentation across key legislation (EPBC Act, WA EP Act, petroleum and pipeline regulations)Undertake environmental impact assessments including baseline studies, impact identification and mitigation strategiesPrepare permit and approval applications and modification documentationDevelop and implement environmental management and monitoring plansScope and coordinate fieldwork for terrestrial and aquatic environmentsPrepare HSE management plans and risk assessmentsLead project delivery including approvals and environmental scopesConduct inspections, audits and compliance activities
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, Natural Resource Management or similarExtensive experience in environmental consulting or similar rolesStrong experience preparing State and Commonwealth environmental approvals (EP Act Part IV & V, EPBC referrals, EMPs)Proven ability to manage projects, clients and teams to deliver high-quality outcomesExperience working with regulators such as EPA, DWER, DMIRS and DCCEEWExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement and technical writing skillsBusiness development mindset and ability to build professional networksAbility to manage multiple projects across varying scale and complexity
