Asphalter Crew Member

$35–$45 p/hr + Overtime + Weekly Pay

Metroplant & Civil is seeking a reliable Asphalt Hand Crew Member to join our team, operating out of our Sunshine yard. This is hands-on, physical work (not paving crew). You’ll be part of a supportive crew delivering a wide variety of small-to-medium civil projects across Melbourne.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

• Constructing raised platforms and speed cushions

• Hand laying and patching asphalt on roads and intersections

• Preparing and finishing footpaths, crossings, and reinstatements

• General road patching and minor civil works

• Site setup, signage, traffic control, and spotting duties

• Using small plant, hand tools, and equipment to get the job done

• Doing Signage, Line marking and Tactiles

What You’ll Bring

• White Card (essential)

• MR licence (HR preferred)

• Bobcat/excavator tickets a bonus

• Traffic control or spotters tickets highly regarded

• Fit, reliable, and ready for hands-on outdoor work

• Previous asphalt/civil experience a plus (but we’ll train the right person)
