Community Care Worker (West/South)

Bene Aged Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Community Care Workers to support clients across the Western and Southern suburbs. This role requires a minimum availability of 3 days per week, offering consistent and meaningful work in the community.

We're looking for dedicated Community Care Workers to assist clients with personal care, domestic support, social engagement and transport in their homes. You'll work independently in the community, helping older people maintain their safety, independence and quality of life.

• Assist with personal care including showering, grooming, dressing and skin checks
• Provide medication support by prompting, administering and supervising medications
• Perform domestic tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings
• Follow care plans and advocate for client needs and preferences
• Communicate and document client changes and concerns to the Case Manager
• Participate in staff training, appraisals and team meetings
• Contribute to quality improvement and incident management

• Minimum availability of 3 days per week across the Western and Southern suburbs
• Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher)
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates
• Full Australian driver's licence
• Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Access to a smart mobile device
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to client needs

• Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential)
