About the role

Gateflex is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis in Caboolture, QLD. This role is fundamental to our operations, providing essential support across various tasks and projects. As a Labourer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our work sites run smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to the success of our business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of work sites to ensure they are safe and organised

• Carrying out manual tasks including moving, loading and unloading materials and equipment

• Supporting skilled tradespeople with their daily operations and project requirements

• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

• Following all health and safety protocols and guidelines on site

• Assisting with general site cleaning and tidying responsibilities

• Responding promptly to supervisor instructions and contributing to team objectives

• Reporting any hazards or safety concerns to management immediately

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and capability to undertake manual labour tasks

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in the trades and services industry

• Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work consistently and punctually

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly

• Awareness of health and safety practices in a workplace environment

• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to team dynamics

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work priorities and tasks

• Previous labouring experience is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate

• Current driver's licence is advantageous
