About the Opportunity
This position provides administrative and customer service support to the Asset Preservation Team and Facilities & Assets Branch. Key responsibilities include coordinating workflows, maintaining accurate records and documentation, delivering professional customer service, managing customer requests and permit data within Council systems, and assessing permit applications to ensure they are complete, compliant, and processed in accordance with established procedures.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
Relevant post‑secondary qualification or a minimum of three years’ experience in administrative or customer‑focused support roles.
Demonstrated experience using computer systems, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite and other corporate information systems.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external customers.
A current driver’s licence.
Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $72,729 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
