The Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice

Our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice in Sydney is led by five partners and has a reputation as a leading practice in high-stakes commercial litigation, corporate regulatory investigations and prosecutions, white collar crime, insolvency, class action defence and competition matters.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced lawyer/senior associate (4-6 year PQE) to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in our Sydney office. In this role, you will work closely with the litigation partners and directly with our clients on complex, challenging and high-profile commercial litigation matters. You want to feel challenged, and to be given opportunities to take on additional responsibility, have autonomy and perform to your own high standard.

More specifically you will have:

strong knowledge of commercial litigation disputes (post-qualification experience gained in private practice either in Australia or an overseas jurisdiction);the ability to coordinate and manage workflows and delegate to and supervise junior lawyers;experience interacting with a broad range of clients and the ability to build/manage effective working relationshipssuperior analytical, research, communication and drafting skills;a commitment to excellence;sound judgement and a proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach to work; andthe ability to work as a productive member of a team.
