The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Change Manager to support and continuously improve organisational change practices across the College.
This newly established role offers a unique opportunity to support strategic initiatives, improve organisational readiness and help ensure change is successfully adopted across a complex and evolving environment.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will provide an enterprise-wide view of change impacts, organisational readiness and change capacity, while partnering with leaders and project teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.
About us The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), incorporating the Faculty of Pain Medicine, is an internationally recognised specialist medical education institution responsible for the training, examinations, specialist qualification, and continuing professional development of all anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists in Australia and New Zealand.
The College's purpose is to serve our communities by leading high-quality patient care in anaesthesia, perioperative and pain medicine, optimising health and reducing the burden of pain.
About the role Working across strategic and operational initiatives, you will: Establish and maintain an enterprise-wide view of organisational change across projects and initiatives. Develop and manage an Enterprise Change Heatmap to provide visibility of impacts, dependencies and change readiness. Assess organisational capacity, identify change fatigue risks and provide insights to support planning and decision making. Develop practical, scalable change frameworks, tools and approaches that support successful adoption. Partner with leaders, project sponsors and stakeholders to build change capability and readiness. Provide reporting, insights and change management advice to senior leaders and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of adaptability and engagement across the organisation.
About you You are a pragmatic and collaborative change professional who can see the bigger picture while delivering practical outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring: Significant experience leading organisational change initiatives and enterprise-wide change programs. Proven experience developing and implementing change management frameworks, methodologies and practical tools. Strong capability in assessing impacts across multiple concurrent initiatives and identifying organisational risks and dependencies. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and facilitation skills. Experience partnering with executive leaders and senior business stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise and impactful reports. A pragmatic approach to balancing organisational needs, stakeholder expectations and business outcomes.
Highly regarded Prosci, CCMP or equivalent change management certification. Experience in education, healthcare or not-for-profit environments. Experience working within PMO, portfolio management or governance functions. Experience building enterprise change capability within a medium-sized organisation.
