Content Creator & Social media Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a talented, energetic and reliable Social Media Content Creator & Overseas Team Assistant to join our team at our Laverton North warehouse. This is a hands-on position that combines professional photo and video content creation for advertising and social media with being the physical assistant and representative of our overseas team here in Australia. The successful applicant will work closely with our overseas-based team throughout their working hours, helping them organise, create and execute content and other tasks that require someone physically present in our Australian warehouse. The most important part of this role is creating high-quality, engaging photo and video content that can be used for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other advertising platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Take high-quality photos and videos of products, vehicles, installations, warehouse activities and staff

• Create short-form video content suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts

• Create advertising content that is visually appealing and designed to attract customers and generate sales

• Film product demonstrations, installations, before-and-after videos and promotional content

• Capture products from the right angles in a way that makes them attractive to customers

• Assist the overseas marketing team by providing the photos and videos they require

• Follow content ideas, instructions and campaigns provided by the overseas team

• Appear on camera when required and occasionally assist other team members with filming

• Keep up with current social media trends and suggest new content ideas

• Communicate and cooperate with the overseas-based team throughout working hours, respond promptly to requests and instructions, help collect information and product details, physically assist with tasks that the overseas team cannot complete remotely, and coordinate between the Australian and overseas team when required

About you

• Proven experience in photo and video content creation

• Strong understanding of social media advertising and content creation

• Ability to take high-quality photos and videos suitable for commercial advertising

• Understanding of what makes a video engaging on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

• Good understanding of social media trends and advertising content

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work closely with an overseas team

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently

• Good organisational skills

• Reliable and punctual
