Your Role

Join PHSA as a dedicated Rehabilitation Counsellor or Provisional/Registered Psychologist and play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of our clients. You will have the opportunity to deliver both New Employer and Same Employer Psychological services across a diverse range of schemes, including Life Insurance, NSW workers compensation, Comcare, Lifetime Care, and CTP.

This dynamic role involves conducting Vocational Assessments, providing insightful Vocational and Rehabilitation Counselling, facilitating effective Workplace Discussions and Case Conferencing with allied health professionals. Your expertise will also be vital in preparing clients for work readiness and collaborating closely with our PHSA Employment Placement Specialists to secure meaningful work trials and successful job placements.

What You’ll Need

• Full or Provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or full membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 2 years experience within occupation rehabilitation
• Minimum 2 years experience completing vocational assessments
• Have a current driver’s licence, motor vehicle and the willingness to travel for face-to-face servicing as required
