Contracts Administrator - Full time

Mathcon is a respected leader in the construction sector, known for delivering high-quality projects across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and a dynamic team culture, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Administrator to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of contracts, procurement, cost control, subcontractor management, and project documentation.

This role is ideally suited to a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who is confident managing contractual obligations, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract administration and management throughout the project lifecycle

• Preparation, assessment, and processing of subcontract agreements, variations, and progress claims

• Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers

• Cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting

• Management of project documentation and compliance requirements

• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to support project delivery

About You:

• Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator role within the construction industry

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction contracts

• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience using Jobpac is highly advantageous

Desirable Experience:

• Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) projects

• Multi-residential developments

• Aged care construction projects

A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) will be required for the successful applicant.
