Truck Driver/Window Manufacture

About the role

Farrawell Glass and Aluminium is seeking a dynamic and experienced Truck Driver/Window Manufacturer to join our team in Kempsey, NSW. This full-time position is crucial in delivering our quality glass and aluminium products to our valued customers across the region.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operating a commercial truck to transport glass and aluminium products to customer sites

2. Ensuring safe and effective loading and unloading of all products in a professional manner

3. Assisting in the manufacture of windows, doors, and other glass and aluminium products in our production facility

4. Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in perfect condition

5. Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company vehicle

6. Collaborating with the production team to identify ways to improve efficiency and quality

7. Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

1. A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence or better, with a strong driving record

2. Experience in the safe operation of commercial vehicles, preferably in a delivery or logistics role

3. A minimum of 1-2 years of commercial truck driving experience is required

4. Demonstrated skills in the manufacture and assembly of glass and aluminium products

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills

6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

7. A flexible and collaborative approach to work

8. Familiarity with the glass and aluminium industry or a similar manufacturing environment

9. Australian work rights are required for this position
