Guidewire Tech Leads & Senior Developers | Full InsuranceSuite (PC / CC / BC) Location: Australia-Based (Hybrid / Remote options)

Role Overview We are seeking highly experienced Guidewire Development Leads and Senior Developers to drive the design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of enterprise-scale Guidewire platform implementations.
Whether your background is centered on PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, or Digital Portals, this role offers the opportunity to direct end-to-end configuration and integration initiatives, shape core architecture, and mentor delivery teams across the entire Guidewire InsuranceSuite ecosystem on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery: Drive end-to-end design, configuration, and integration across Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Digital/Jutsu portals).Architecture & Standards: Enforce software engineering best practices, Gosu coding standards, design patterns, and security frameworks across full-lifecycle implementations.Integrations & Cloud: Build and optimize robust RESTful, SOAP, and API-led integrations connecting Guidewire applications with legacy enterprise systems, third-party data providers, and cloud microservices.Team Mentorship & Governance: Conduct rigorous code reviews, mentor technical team members, and partner closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and QA leads to streamline delivery pipelines.Platform Evolution: Contribute to cloud migration strategies (GWCP), version upgrades, performance tuning, and CI/CD automation.Key Skills & Experience
Guidewire Ecosystem: Extensive hands-on configuration and integration experience across one or more core Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, or Digital Portals).Technical Proficiency: Strong mastery of Gosu, Java/J2EE, XML/JSON, SQL, object-oriented design patterns, and web services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).Cloud & Platform: Direct experience developing on or migrating to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), alongside familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).Leadership Capability: Proven track record in a Senior Developer or Technical Lead capacity within enterprise insurance environments.Delivery Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Test-Driven Development (GosuTesters), and automated testing frameworks.Communication: Clear communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical complexity for non-technical audiences.If interested please apply to the job or contact Calum at chouston@siriustechnology.com.au
