Cabinetmaker - Installer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaking Installer to come alongside our team (independent subcontractor or short-term contract) at Kitchens by Bowen in the Sunshine Coast to North Brisbane region. The work will involve the installation of custom cabinets for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for someone available for 2-3 installs per week. The successful candidate will have a strong background/experience in cabinetmaking and on-site installation.

What you'll be doing

• Installing custom cabinets, vanities, and other furniture items

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, meeting project specifications and safety requirements

• Where necessary, liaising with the team, project managers & other trades to coordinate installation activities

• Maintaining a clean and organised work site throughout the installation process

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a cabinetmaker or furniture installer

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A reliable, safety-focused approach to work
