Electrician

We currently have a permanent position available within our Construction Department in our SA Branch. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role of a TKE Modernisation Electrician is to be directly responsible for the installation of new equipment to specific Australian Standards and Codes. The successful applicant must hold a current SA Electrical licence.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include but not be limited to:

• Installation of low and medium voltage equipment to current code

• Remove old installation and prepare the site for new equipment

• Be accountable for implementation of site safety procedures

• Good communication skills and positive approach

• Install & adjust Electro/Mechanical equipment e.g.: door lock assemblies, door operators, controllers & shaft and pit equipment

• Balance lift to ensure correct weight between car & counterweight

• Knowledge of Modernisation and New Installation methodologies

• Ensure GSM is adhered to

The successful candidate will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A current Electrical Licence

• Excellent communication skills

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role (desirable)

• Ability to work independently

• Full Driving licence

• Rigging qualification (desirable)
