Origin Meat is seeking an experienced Food Service Butcher to join our production team.

We supply premium portion-cut meat to leading restaurants, hotels, clubs and retailers across Sydney. We need a skilled butcher who can work quickly while maintaining excellent accuracy, consistency and yield.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Portion cutting beef, lamb and pork to customer specifications

• Producing consistent weights, sizes and presentation

• Maximising yield and minimising unnecessary trim and waste

• Working quickly to meet daily production deadlines

• Accurately following cutting sheets and customer specifications

• Maintaining high food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety standards

• Working reliably as part of a busy production team

What We’re Looking For

The successful applicant must:

• Have proven experience as a food-service or production butcher

• Be fast and productive without compromising quality

• Understand how to maximise yield from every cut

• Be highly accurate with portion weights and specifications

• Be reliable, punctual and ready to work

• Take pride in consistency and presentation

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment

• Have good knife skills and a strong understanding of meat cuts
