About the role 

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient imaging services across modalities including General X-Ray, CT, and MRI (with opportunities to develop further). 

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm 

• Environment: Supportive, professional, and patient‑centred 

• Exposure: A broad and unique caseload as Cairns’ principal provider of imaging services 

Experienced Radiographers and Graduates encouraged to apply. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Performing high-quality imaging across General X-Ray, CT, MRI, and Mammography 

• Providing excellent patient care and ensuring a safe, positive experience 

• Collaborating with radiologists, referrers, and the clinic team 

• Maintaining strict quality and safety standards 

What you’ll need 

• Current Radiography Radiation Licence and professional registration 

• Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Radiography 

• A collaborative approach and strong communication skills
