MC Linehaul Driver

Collins Adelaide is looking for an experienced MC Linehaul Driver in Derrimut, Melbourne!

• Full-time employment available

• Role will be a combination of Nhill Changeovers and direct Adelaide trips (involving potential pickups/deliveries)

• Per km rate + allowances + pickup/delivery payments

Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.

Your role will focus on driving linehaul between Melbourne and Adelaide/Nhill return and will include:

• Consistent weekend shifts

• Pickup/delivery at either end when required

• Following Collins coupling/uncoupling procedures

• Preparation and completion of logbook requirements

• Accurately completing freight and transport paperwork

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2+ years of MC linehaul driving experience 

• Experience driving a variety of combinations, including A-Double and B-Triple road trains

• Experience with accurate completion of freight and heavy vehicle paperwork 

• Knowledge & experience with load restraint procedures

• Professional and customer-focused attitude

• Experience with refrigerated transport (preferred) 

• Current BFM certificate (preferred)
