Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic, sales-driven Branch Manager to lead our Wynnum branch and drive its next phase of growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys being out with customers, spotting opportunities, quoting tenders, winning work and growing a branch. With a strong industrial customer base and plenty of opportunity in the local market, this role is ideal for someone who brings commercial drive, industry knowledge and a genuine passion for sales leadership.

As Branch Manager, you’ll take ownership of branch performance across sales, margin, operations, service and team leadership.

This is not a purely operational role. We’re looking for someone who will be active in the market, build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities and help expand the branch’s footprint across the local industrial sector.

What you’ll be doing

Driving sales, margin and profit growthLeading the day-to-day operations of the branchBuilding strong relationships with industrial customers, suppliers and internal teamsGetting out in the market to meet customers and win new businessPreparing quotes, managing tenders and converting opportunitiesCoaching and leading the branch team to deliver strong service and commercial outcomesCreating a positive, inclusive and high-performing team cultureMaintaining strong safety, compliance and operational standards

Qualifications

Strong background in sales, business development or branch leadershipProven ability to grow customer relationships and drive commercial resultsExperience quoting tenders, managing opportunities and closing salesA proactive, hands-on and growth-focused approachStrong leadership, communication and influencing skillsCommercial acumen and the ability to balance sales with branch performanceExperience in electrical wholesale or industrial markets highly regarded
